Comparisons within the Porch, SunRoom and Shop: 2-8-2002

Monitoring in just Porch, SunRoom and Shop was performed to better understand how these different spaces compare in thermal behavior. On this sunny day the control system for the fan that circulates air between the Shop and the Porch and SunRoom was disabled to better understand how these components work together. As can be observed in the graph that by not transferring the heat out of the Porch the late afternoon temperate can reach the high 80s. Even in the absence of the fan the temperature in the Shop still increased a few degrees. Also, as for the conditions on 2/6, the Porch and the Sunroom begin and end the day and very much the same temperature.
